Plater 2 (2nd Shift)
Reports to: Department Supervisor • Garden Grove, CA • Full-Time • 2nd Shift

Responsibilities
- Process parts in tanks according to specifications, work order, and other requirements
- Calculate the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts
- Remove parts from tank after specified time, rinse parts, and immerse them in bath before finishing processing
- Complete paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines
- Oversee and assist all line assistants to optimize throughput
- Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on processing line
- Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly
- Other duties as assigned
Work Environment
The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting. Work is performed in shop conditions and can be in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit. This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Valence Surface Technologies is required to verify that applicants meet ITAR requirements prior to employment for this role.
