Plater - 2nd Shift (C)

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts before, during, and after processing
• Operate all machinery and instruments necessary to safely perform job functions, including routine maintenance
• Complete fork truck training (designated employees only)
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Locate and understand relevant Quality system documentation in the Valence computer system
• Understand and perform steps defined in the Valence ROUTER, follow procedures for correctly filling out routers, correct input mistakes, and notify superiors for router-related problems
• Process parts with little or no supervision
• Practice behavior that avoids and protects parts from damage

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read process traveler and fill out completed operations
• Ability to perform simple cleaning operations
• Ability to assist as a helper to trained operators
• Able to follow verbal and written directions
• Able to use basic hand tools such as wrenches and clamps
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs
• Able to work under direct supervision
• Must meet ITAR requirements (Valence will verify prior to employment)

Pay

$20 to $22.00 per hour plus shift differential
