About the role
Provide patient-centered care in both ambulatory and inpatient settings within a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery team.
Responsibilities
- Manage cosmetic and reconstructive patients
- Assist in surgeries
- Conduct patient examinations and review medical histories
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- Perform preoperative preparations and obtain informed consent
- Schedule surgeries
- Deliver pre- and postoperative care
- Perform ambulatory procedures such as wound care and biopsies
- Support clinic activities with educational materials
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Nursing with appropriate certification and licensure or graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program with NCCPA certification and state licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Fully credentialed
