Plastic Surgery PA - Full-Time

About the role

The role involves providing patient-centered care within a plastic and reconstructive surgery setting, including ambulatory and inpatient responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Managing clinic patients
• Examining and diagnosing conditions
• Planning treatments in collaboration with physicians
• Preparing patients for surgery by obtaining informed consent and coordinating scheduling
• Performing postoperative visits
• Executing ambulatory procedures such as wound care and biopsies
• First assisting during surgeries
• Supporting clinic activities and educational initiatives

Qualifications

Qualifications require a Master’s Degree in Nursing with certification as an ANCC Nurse Practitioner or an accredited Physician Assistant degree with NCCPA certification. Licensure and current BLS certification are essential.

Skills

The ideal candidate must be credentialed, able to work independently, and possess strong clinical, diagnostic, and surgical assisting skills.
