Plaque/Cast Manufacturing Specialist

About the role

Gemini is looking for a 1st shift Foundry Team Member to join the team at our location in Decorah, IA. Come be a part of a positive, people-first culture that is focused on leveraging each team member’s strengths to help bring our customers’ unique signage products to life.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing hand/power tools and operating equipment to finish high quality product.
• Inspecting and assembling the finished product and shipping appropriately to the customer.
• This role sits in a metal foundry. Our operators create sand molds to be poured with liquid metal to create a metal casting.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
• Operate a variety of power saws and routers, cutting out letters from plastic sheets.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Foundry related experience.
• Leverage lean manufacturing experience.

Skills

• Manufacturing experience.
• Automotive Paint experience.

Pay

Wage Range: $18.49 - $24.47

Schedule

Consistent Schedule: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday

Additional Information

Overtime is scheduled as needed. Reporting to Plant Manager. Education and experience requirements include manufacturing experience, automotive paint experience, high level of mechanical aptitude, and foundry related experience. Physical demands include being able to lift to 50 lbs., operate a variety of power saws and routers, and cut out letters from plastic sheets.
