Responsibilities

  • Lead daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and shipping activities
  • Drive a culture of safety by promoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Monitor production and quality performance to meet customer expectations and operational goals
  • Cook up and coordinate people, equipment, and resources to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Manage labor and operating costs while supporting production objectives
  • Oversee plant equipment, facilities, and preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and operational performance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant facility
  • Coach, develop, and support supervisors and production employees
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational challenges and achieve plant goals

Requirements

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, concrete products, construction materials, or a similar industrial environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and team-building skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations, maintenance practices, quality systems, and production planning
  • Experience managing production performance, labor resources, and operating costs
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment and preventive maintenance programs
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, planning, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems
  • Working knowledge of applicable safety, environmental, and employment regulations
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Able to work flexible hours and perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing environment
