About the role
The Plant Manager (PM) oversees manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and adherence to customer requirements. They provide guidance and motivation to direct reports, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and morale.
Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and adherence to customer requirements.
- Provide direction and motivation to your team, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and morale.
- Conduct daily production area audits to ensure procedures for safety, quality, equipment, and training are being followed and all aspects of manufacturing are effective, including correcting sub-standards.
- Develop and lead a manufacturing continuous improvement system.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to address any deviations and drive improvement.
- Develop and maintain positive team member relations centered on mutual trust, dignity, respect, fairness, consistency, two-way communication, teamwork, and harmony.
- Ensure further development of group leaders, team leaders, and team members through performance evaluation, development of training plans, feedback, coaching, corrective action, and cascade training.
- Update team member training matrix and schedule any needed training.
Qualifications
- 2 years of college preferred and a minimum of a high school education and 5+ years of factory-related experience.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office including D365.
- Management / Leadership experience at least 5+ years required.

Schedule
Full-time salary position, shift: 6:00 PM to 4:30 A.M. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
