Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for both converting and mill operations.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety policies and regulations.
• Build trust, manage change, and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Coach and develop plant leadership teams and production supervisors.
• Drive operational performance through KPI management and data-driven decision making.
• Analyze efficiencies and develop action plans to maximize production, quality, and profitability.
• Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, process optimization projects, and cost reduction efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve productivity, reliability, and overall plant performance.
• Manage budgets, capital expenditures, labor costs, inventory, and operational reporting.
• Champion initiatives to improve productivity, quality, customer service, and cost performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably within the tissue manufacturing industry.
• Multi-site leadership experience preferred.
• Experience leading unionized manufacturing operations is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, converting operations, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
