Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment and systems regularly to identify and address issues before they escalate.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize breakdowns and ensure smooth production.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly to keep operations on track.
• Utilize welding skills to fabricate, repair, or reinforce plant equipment and structures.
• Collaborate with plant leaders to prioritize maintenance tasks based on operational needs.
• Maintain clear records of repairs, parts used, and time spent for accurate maintenance history.
• Stay updated on new techniques and safety protocols to enhance your skills.
• Coordinate with external experts for specialized tasks when needed.
• Identify and address safety hazards to maintain a secure work environment.
• Assist in various tasks as needed, contributing to the team’s overall success.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in plant, industrial, or manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience in a concrete plant is a plus.
• Proficiency in electrical work, plumbing, and welding; certifications are beneficial but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills to handle tough repairs under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for both independent and team-based work.
• Commitment to safety and familiarity with plant safety regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or vocational degree is a bonus.
• Valid driver’s license and comfort operating plant machinery.
• Willingness to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.
• Availability for emergency repairs, including nights or weekends.
