The Corporate Manufacturing Plant Maintenance Supervisor is a key member of the Corporate Plant Maintenance Team, responsible for the direct supervision of Plant Maintenance Mechanics and exercising independent judgment and discretion in managing the maintenance of plant equipment.
Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of Plant Maintenance Mechanics—planning, scheduling, directing, and supervising their work, including performance evaluations, interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees.
- Oversee the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program and the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Execute company safety policies and procedures, train employees on proper work methods and safety procedures, and provide leadership within the Maintenance Department.
- Provide regular status reports to the maintenance management team and keep the Director of Maintenance informed of major mechanical problems, assisting in solutions.
- Supervise inspections of equipment to comply with OSHA and other applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and inventory.
- Provide long-term solutions and day-to-day support for troubleshooting, problem analysis, and equipment failures.
- Collaborate with outside vendors concerning service and parts for manufacturing equipment.
- Assist in hiring new maintenance employees and oversee their supervised on-the-job training (OJT) program.
- Plan and schedule personnel, shift changes, vacation schedules, and weekly payroll reporting.
- Assist in the planning and installation of new or modified equipment in the plant.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) as outlined in CFR 21 section 110, participate in Food Safety training, and report potential Food Safety issues.
- Exhibit high ethical and moral conduct, complete assigned training, and ensure precautions are taken to protect company assets and employee safety.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- At least seven (7) years of experience in a multi-craft environment.
- Experience with mobile phones, desktop/laptop computers, and scanners.
