About the role

You will support the Plant Manager and contribute to a performance culture focused on innovation and sustainability. This role involves managing office operations, coordinating events, handling communications, and serving as a public relations liaison.

Responsibilities

  • Provides skilled administrative services to the Plant Manager including general office work, taking/screening calls; organizing/maintaining calendars; booking rooms/setting appointments; maintaining office equipment; stock/order supplies, and approving all visitor passes.
  • Arranges and coordinates special meetings/events for both visitors and plant employees.
  • Ability to compose correspondence and communication from general instructions. Generate reports and track metrics as requested.
  • May develop working tools, such as spreadsheets and data entry tools.
  • Administers plant systems as required.
  • Acts as the Public Relations liaison internal and external to Kimberly-Clark.
  • Handles contribution, donation, and sponsorship requests.
  • Manage the Plant bulletin boards, including required reading board.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 3+years of administrative work experience supporting a manager or an executive
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines, and possesses flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and editing and math skills
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential records and information with the utmost discretion
  • Demonstrated personal sensitivity while maintaining the professional image of Kimberly-Clark
  • Prior experience in an Administrative position or similar role preferred
  • High ability to exercise independent problem solving and decision making with a high degree of initiative and self-coordination

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Previous experience with SAP
