Plant Accounting Specialist — Metal Fabrication

About the role

The Plant Accounting Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile plant accounts, including purchase orders, invoices, and vendor payments.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and benefits.
• Manage and reconcile plant inventory levels and prepare reports on material usage.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and support business operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and QuickBooks.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with industry-specific accounting standards.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay

$60,000 - $80,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
