Responsibilities
- Checking the possibility of the order fulfillment based on the available resources (materials, employees, equipment etc.), confirmation of the order.
- Preparation of production plans, input of planning data into the integrated computer system of the company, notification of the purchasing group.
- Making sure the production plans are implemented, taking necessary actions in case of deviations.
- Preparing long-term plans, forecasts (MPS, Forecast).
- Maintaining the accuracy of the system, monitoring stock levels, handling stock differences.
- Preparing management and CFT specificities reports, monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Providing assistance, replacement in certain cases to SCM and Order desk within the CFT.
- Advising non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
- Monitoring and addressing issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD), lead-time, response time, and inventory goals.
- Coordinating and managing high-visibility and/or important customer programs.
- Coordinating with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
- Driving process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
- Providing input to management, rescheduling, and/or interfacing with customer program management, master scheduling, customers and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
- Representing Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams.
- Helping inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
- Ensuring compliance with standards and training all manufacturing area personnel in their specific functions.
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience in materials or related field.
- Has awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions.
- Knowledge about any ERP or BAAN system, MS Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to operate data entry, office software including, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation packages and data base systems.
Qualifications

- Typically requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience in materials or related field.
