Planner II or III

Job Summary

The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for a Planner II or Planner III in the Planning & Zoning Department. This position may be filled as a Planner III based on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in planning, public administration, or related field and 4 or more years of professional planning experience required to qualify as a Planner II.
  • AICP required within 4 years of employment.
• Master's degree in planning, public administration, or related field preferred and can replace up to 2 years of required professional experience to qualify as a Planner II.
  • AICP required to qualify as a Planner III.
• Five or more years of professional planning experience and AICP required to qualify as a Planner III.
  • Professional experience in project management preferred.

Requirements

• Valid Oklahoma driver license and insurability required.

Benefits

Salary range: Grade L - $63,140 - $70,789/YR, Grade O - $84,267 - $94,476/YR w/benefits.
