Planner

Responsibilities

• Verify customer purchase orders to ensure compliance with processing requirements
• Develop detailed, step-by-step work instructions for manufacturing complex machine details and assembling aircraft components
• Determine the need for additional sketches and aids
• Analyze customer engineering drawings and models to identify configuration changes
• Understand and utilize the MRP system to manage the database, generate work orders, and produce related documentation
• Create work orders and certification documents to convey information and demonstrate conformance to specifications
• Interpret supplied purchase orders and blueprints to ensure proper flow-down to the production process
• Plan and schedule workflows for each department and operation based on established manufacturing sequences and lead times
• Offer technical support to internal departments and outsourcing vendors

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of customer processing requirements
• Experience developing and maintaining detailed work instructions
• Knowledge of MRP systems and their applications
• Ability to analyze and interpret engineering drawings and models
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in scheduling and workflow management
