Planner
Description
The Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Planner to support production, supply, and demand planning activities within a fast-paced operational environment. This role is responsible for ensuring materials, inventory, and production schedules are aligned with business requirements to maintain efficient operations and meet customer demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute production, supply, and demand plans to support business objectives.
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP preferred) to manage planning data, inventory levels, and production schedules.
- Monitor inventory and collaborate with purchasing and operations teams to ensure material availability.
- Review demand forecasts and adjust production or supply plans to align with changing business needs.
- Track order status, identify potential delays, and proactively resolve supply chain disruptions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Operations to ensure alignment on priorities and production requirements.
- Maintain accurate planning records, reports, and scheduling data.
- Analyze planning and inventory metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within planning and supply chain operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in planning, production scheduling, supply chain, inventory management, or a related field.
- Experience working with ERP systems, with SAP experience strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data tracking, reporting, and basic analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced operational setting.
