Planned Maintenance Technician (Heavy Equipment Mechanic)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performing mechanical maintenance on a variety of material handling equipment and machinery
  • Diagnosing and completing equipment repairs in a timely manner, providing a variety of repair options that best meet customer needs
  • Tracking parts for ongoing service jobs
  • Completing work order forms
  • Communicating with the Shop Coordinator, Shop Lead, Service Manager, and Technical Support Center regarding service jobs and repair needs
  • Proactively identifying maintenance and repair opportunities for equipment
  • Following established warranty processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of heavy equipment repair experience in a related industry, such as heavy machinery or material handling equipment
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to partner effectively with external customers and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong aptitude for learning and applying mechanical and technical concepts
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • High school diploma
  • Valid driver’s license

Pay

The base pay range for this role is: $32.00 to $36.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

This is an onsite role based in Odessa, Texas.
