About The Role
As a Mechanical Piping Engineer 2, you will provide various technical services and engineering support for safe and reliable solutions for piping, pipe supports, and mechanical modules in all areas of nuclear power plants. Typical work includes design and analysis activities for pipe supports and mechanical modules in new power plants and impact assessment and implementation of design change packages in operating plants. You will report to the Manager, Piping And Supports and be located at our Rock Hill, SC or Cranberry Township, PA location. The position is hybrid, you will be on site 2 days per week. Relocation assistance is unavailable for this position.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants with a focus on piping and pipe support design and analysis.
- Work in teams to resolve critical issues affecting the construction and operation of nuclear power plants.
- Develop business relationships with Westinghouse customers.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations to communicate a variety of issues: project status, problem resolution, engineering recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- Minimum 3+ years of mechanical design and analysis.
Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $69,200 to $86,500 per year.
