Responsibilities
- Oversee installation of complex piping systems on commercial and industrial projects.
- Perform advanced welding (MIG, TIG, Stick), threading, and system alignments.
- Lead troubleshooting and repair of system issues, including leaks, blockages, and malfunctions.
- Conduct and oversee pressure testing for system integrity.
- Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Manage workflow, assign tasks, and oversee productivity on job sites.
- Represent pipefitting discipline in project planning and safety meetings.
- Uphold the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety in all work.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification or licensure as a pipefitter preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive pipefitting experience in commercial or industrial construction.
- Mastery of welding, system design interpretation, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Proven leadership ability to manage teams and oversee job site operations.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Self-starter and willingness to learn.
Qualifications
- Certification or completion of an apprenticeship in pipefitting.
- Experience with industrial piping systems.
- OSHA 30 or can obtain within 30 days of start.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods.
- Regularly required to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in outdoor conditions and elevated environments.
- Use of hands to handle tools, reach, and operate equipment.
- Ability to hear, speak, and communicate clearly on active jobsites.
