Responsibilities
- Support the operations and maintain RP buildings, pipelines gathering systems, valves, pumps and equipment.
- Travel to various RP locations as assigned by Network Operations Center (NOC) or Supervisor.
- Maintain daily housekeeping duties: clean screens, flow meters, and RP buildings.
- Grease Motors.
- Daily inspection of equipment and facility operating functions.
- Perform necessary preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Conduct routine inspection of pipeline right-of-way as needed.
- Repair and replace saltwater pipeline equipment and related equipment as time allows.
- Assist with pigging and pressure testing.
- Conduct daily facility visits.
- Be able to tow trailer and operate power washer.
- Cross train in operating saltwater disposal (SWD).
- Track pipeline, and discharge pressures.
- Coordinate with trucking companies on delivery of salt water.
- Identify and report operational concerns.
- Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns.
- Actively participate in safety programs/initiatives, development of O&M Procedures, Site Specific Procedures, project scopes and work plans.
- Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, regulatory, Company tariff requirements and governmental activities (PHMSA, EPA, USFS, state agencies, etc.).
- Complete all applicable documentation and record keeping.
- Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence.
- Collaborate with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism.
- Speak clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal skills and listen carefully.
- Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance.
- Will work non-traditional hours.
- Maintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.
- Other daily, weekly, monthly or special project duties as identified and defined.

Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A working knowledge of transmission pipeline systems, pump stations, etc.
- Knowledge and experience in safe handling practices of produced water.
- Knowledge and experience in safe handling practices of oil field materials and waste.
- Experience analyzing, adjusting and making minor repairs on pumps and other associated equipment.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, P&IDs and other diagrams.
Qualifications
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).
Skills & Abilities
- Computer literate – experience with operating software a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude on related equipment.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals).
- Good verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong customer focus and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform all essential and marginal functions of the job.
- Ability to work with a team, take direction from management, adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
- Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
- Ability to organize and prioritize daily work.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 41 pounds from floor to waist height.
- Ability to carry loads up to 20 pounds over distances of up to 300 feet and loads up to 41 pounds up to 20 feet.
- Ability to exert rotational force of up to 170 foot pounds for valve operations, and push/pull with a force of approximately 170 foot pounds.
- Willingness to sit, stand, walk, climb ladders, and ascend/descend stairs regularly during work tasks.
- Capability to perform overhead, shoulder, waist, and knee reaching, as well as grasping, pinching, and fine motor movements.
- Ability to bend, twist, pivot, and lateral flexion of the lumbar and cervical spine as required by job activities.
- Adaptability to working in conditions involving exposure to wet, hot, cold, ambient temperatures, whole body vibration, and loud noise.
- Ability to kneel, crouch, crawl, and perform various body motions necessary for inspection, maintenance, and manual tasks.
- Capability to perform tasks requiring good vision, hearing, feeling, and tactile feedback for safety and precision.
Working Conditions
- Varying working conditions from office settings to working outdoors in inclement weather conditions.
- Working with and around industrial hazards.
- Occasional overtime may be required.
- May be required to work an on-call 24/7 shift rotation in order to provide relief of illness, vacation, etc.
- Nights and weekend hours required (shift differential provided).
