Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitoring of engine and compression performance
- Scheduled maintenance and overhaul of equipment
- Maintain engine run hour records, oil sampling and maintenance records
- Insure environmental compliance in emission testing program
- Control and minimize repair expenses through a strong preventative maintenance program
- Maintain clean and safe working environment
- Make any and all repairs as deemed reasonable and safe
- Operate and maintain company vehicle/s and equipment at all times to ensure their personal safety along with the equipment they will operate
- Comply with HS&E Policies and Safety Program
Education, Professional Licensure and Certifications
- High School/GED
- The Pigging Assistant must be able to obtain and maintain a commercial driver’s license commensurate with his or her classification and DOT regulations
Physical Demands
- Regularly stand, walk, use hand and fingers to feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and taste or smell
- Frequently sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move 50 pounds
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus necessary
Working Environment
- Exposed to flammable liquids
- Exposed to various weather conditions
- Exposed to various types of chemicals
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
