Foreman - Pipeline
Job Description
Select’s Pipeline Foreman, under minimal supervision, performs a variety of general manual labor tasks, including, but not limited to, lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles, digging and refilling holes, and other activities in a helping or assisting mode.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Aids in training, assigning, and checking the work of lower-level employees.
- Often designated lead worker.
- Cleans and prepares a job site.
- Loads and delivers materials.
- Uses a variety of tools and machines.
- Sets up and takes down ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures.
- Handles complex issues and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
Requirements
- Must be 18-years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Familiarity with oil and gas operations, pipeline operations, and UIC wells.
- Knowledge of general water piping systems, pump, motors, valves, meters, and other related equipment preferred.
- Must pass pre-employment fitness for duty test (FIT test).
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Compensation Information
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Physical Demands and Exposures
- Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat.
- Near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
- Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection.
- Prolonged sitting, standing, walking.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to individually lift: maximum 50 lbs.
