About the role
Kleinfelder is seeking a Pipeline Engineering Program Manager to join our Houston office. This role involves leading and mentoring project execution teams across various pipeline and energy infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Nurture and grow client relationships and contracts for complex, multi-disciplinary projects
- Lead and mentor project execution teams
- Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and criteria
- Review pipeline and facility designs for compliance with applicable codes, standards, and design criteria
- Manage project organization, subcontractor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and reporting
- Collaborate on design and construction management projects to drive continuous improvement
- Communicate effectively with internal and external teams of clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- Required, Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Required, Professional Engineer (PE)
- Experienced with client development / management
- Experienced with team building and mentoring and developing project execution teams
- 8+ years of related pipeline and energy infrastructure experience
- Experienced in project planning activities with a background in utilizing standard tools and information to make tactical course corrections regarding budgeting, scheduling, and scope changes
- Ability to assess and resolve issues and conflicts internally and externally
- Production design experience either first-hand or through reviews of work products and independent technical reviews
Skills & Experience
- Experienced with client development / management

- 8+ years of related pipeline and energy infrastructure experience
