About the role

Responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining piping systems in various industrial settings. Works closely with engineers and other trades to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Designing and specifying pipe systems based on project requirements and safety guidelines.
• Installing and commissioning new piping systems according to blueprints and specifications.
• Maintaining existing piping systems to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.
• Collaborating with other trades such as electricians and plumbers to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Performing routine inspections and troubleshooting to prevent system failures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in pipefitting or related field.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and pipe fabrication processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
• Experience with pipe fitting tools and equipment.
• Understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
