Pipefitters

About the role

Responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining piping systems in various industrial settings. Works closely with engineers and other trades to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and install piping systems according to specifications and codes.
• Perform leak testing and pressure testing on installed systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing existing systems as needed.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in pipefitting.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and pipe fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
• Experience with Piping Systems Design Software (PSDS).
• Good understanding of OSHA regulations and safety practices.

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule
