About the role

Responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining piping systems in various industrial settings. Works closely with engineers and other trades to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and install piping systems according to blueprints and specifications.
• Inspect and test new and existing systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical issues and improve system efficiency.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning, repairing, and replacing parts as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in pipefitting or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pipefitting techniques and materials.
• Experience with welding and brazing processes.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
• Proficiency in using common tools and equipment used in pipefitting.

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Pay

• $50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule
