Pipefitter Helper (Wendell, Charlotte, Elon & Surrounding Areas)
Job Summary
Pipefitter Helper assists in the layout, assembly, and installation of piping systems by accurately positioning, aligning, and securing components.
Responsibilities
- Holds, positions, and measures tape to assist in layout.
- Plays and moves equipment and materials.
- Positions and turns clamps; screws, bolts, and hammers parts together; uses tools and equipment properly and only if certified (as required).
- Transports and furnishes the mechanic with materials, tools, and supplies.
- Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment; ensures that tools, equipment, and materials are stored properly and securely.
- Performs other routine duties.
- Complies with company policies and procedures, especially safety rules.
- Ability to inspect tools.
Qualifications
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn.
- Positive attitude and keeps a good morale on-site.
- Has Hand tools to perform the task.
- Osha 10 Certification.
