Pipefitter Foreman

About the Role

Supervises, coordinates, inspects and performs the assembly, installation and repair of components, subsystems and systems for the piping trade during the construction, tenant finish-out or remodel of commercial buildings and industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of HVAC pipe installers
• Oversee the installation of HVAC/R systems in commercial settings
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with established safety standards and regulations
• Review schematics and blueprints to plan HVAC installations or repairs effectively
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members on complex HVAC issues
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used
• Train new employees on best practices for HVAC installation, repair, and safety protocols
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 10 Years Experience in Commercial HVAC industry
• Journeyman HVAC (Required)
• Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to HVAC/R systems
• Ability to build custom solutions based on project requirements
• Able to weld piping
• Familiar with steam systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and quality workmanship
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams effectively
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to access and navigate all areas of construction sites
