Pipefitter Foreman
About the role
The ideal candidate will have experience installing process piping systems, setting and aligning mechanical equipment, and performing millwright-type work associated with pumps, blowers, screens, conveyors, mixers, and other treatment plant equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install carbon steel, stainless steel, ductile iron, PVC, and HDPE piping systems.
- Set, align, and install pumps, blowers, mixers, valves, and other process equipment.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, piping isometrics, P&IDs, and equipment layout drawings.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Perform physically demanding construction activities including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pipefitter, Mechanical Installer, Millwright, or related trade.
- Experience working on water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
- Knowledge of rigging practices, equipment handling, and mechanical installation procedures.
Qualifications
This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork in a fast-paced construction environment.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a construction environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The position involves working on various water and wastewater treatment plant projects in the Jacksonville, Florida area. Travel may be required to various project sites within the state.
