Pipefitter

Archer Western Construction, LLC is seeking a Pipefitter for the WMW/Central Valley Water Reclamation Facility in South Salt Lake, Utah.

About the role

Assemble, install, and replace pipe systems (metal, plastic, ceramic, composition) and related components, including plumbing fixtures. Responsibilities

• Assemble and install piping and tubing systems for water, steam, air, fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures.
• Install vacuum piping systems, drainage, and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment.
• Handle and move materials and equipment used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of verifiable experience preferred.
• Experience with piping systems and fixtures; knowledge of construction measurements and tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may require standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for long periods.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Full-time position in the Water division.
