Pipe Shop Material Handler - 2nd Shift Warehouse

About the role

Famous Supply is a place for positive, growth-oriented, high-performers. This is a full-time warehouse position with a starting wage of $18.50/hour + based on experience and a shift differential, plus an annual bonus opportunity. This shift begins at 6:00pm. Warehouse associates handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces and showers.

Responsibilities

• Handling rooftops, steel & copper and PVC pipe, flat stock sheet metal material
• Unloading trucks
• Receiving material
• Put-away of material
• Picking customer orders
• Staging customer orders for delivery
• Loading customer delivery trucks
• Ensuring product is handled with care to prevent damage
• Attention to detail to ensure warehouse tasks are done accurately
• Keeping warehouse clean, neat and organized

Requirements

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Ability to stand on feet for majority of an 8 hour day
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications

• Forklift experience
• Building industry experience and requisite product knowledge
• Experience working in a warehouse
• Experience using RF Scanners
