About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Material Handler - Warehouse - 2nd Shift to join our team on Badger Dr. in Waukesha, WI!

Responsibilities

  • Shipping and receiving Material Handlers are responsible for the smooth, efficient flow of all raw material and fabricated material into, throughout, and out of Badger Drive.
  • Use forklifts (stand up and sit down), walk along, and a 5-ton crane as needed to complete daily job duties.
  • In This Function, You Will:
    • Deliver finished fabricated parts from fabrication area or the e-coat lines to the shipping dock and fills out necessary paperwork.
    • Load and unload trucks for inbound and outbound material.
    • Complete shipment paperwork and SAP transactions for inbound and outbound material.
    • Move pallets of in-process work to where they are accessible to other customers.
    • Keep department provided with pallets and disposed of unusable pallets.
    • Put parts away in storage racks or floor locations.
    • Dispose of scrap materials to designated scrap locations within the plant.
    • Locate material with proper identification attached and turn receiving paperwork into office.
    • Receive, locate, and ship parts daily to assure proper customer service commitments are maintained.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of previous experience operating a forklift.
  • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.

Skills

  • Ability to work overtime when required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $21.45 + $2.50 shift differential.

Schedule

The core hours are 3 pm - 11 pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.
