Pile Driving Superintendent - Primoris Heavy Civil - Louisiana

Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking a dedicated Pile Driver Superintendent to lead pile driving crews on our ongoing bridge projects in Louisiana. While heavy civil experience is preferred, it is not required—what matters most is strong leadership and a commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall support and leadership to pile driving crews on a project site.
- Work closely with Project Management to identify and mitigate project issues that affect safety, quality, budget, and schedule.
- Set daily work objectives that meet the goals of the schedule and communicate them to the crew while encouraging the crew’s input in the setting of the goals.
- Schedule and request needed personnel as indicated for timely project completion in conjunction with project management.
- Determine and recommend improvements in methods, schedules, and procedures where practical on the project.
- Inspect materials when delivered to ensure they comply with quality standards and specifications.
- Ensure material is delivered to the construction site per established agreements and in a timely fashion.
- Meet contract specifications and company quality standards.
- Report daily time of crew, equipment, and materials used, as well as quantities of work completed.
- Report any extra work, back charges to subcontractors, or delays caused by owner, utility company, or others.
- Perform other related duties as required of the position or as assigned by supervision.
- Travel as required; may include, but not limited to meetings, regular site construction support, training, etc.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience as a working superintendent
- Good communication skills, both written as well as able to effectively verbally communicate with team members, suppliers, and any related project stakeholders
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills; ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently
- Driven and self-motivated problem solver
- Open to learn new processes and procedures

Primoris Heavy Civil provides highway, port, airfield, rail and marine (intermodal transportation) construction services to private commercial and industrial clients as well as governmental entities such as the Department of Transportation and the US Army Corps of Engineers. Heavy Civil is comprised of six operating units that include North Louisiana Operations, South Louisiana Operations, Texas Operations, HMA Paving Operations, Concrete Paving Operations, and the Infrastructure Rehabilitation Unit.
