About the role

Fine Architects is a boutique New York City architecture firm specializing in high-end residential work. Projects include apartment and townhouse renovations on the Upper East and Upper West Sides of Manhattan, along with select houses in the Hamptons. Our work emphasizes high quality design and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Lead project coordination and development across all phases
• Produce and oversee detailed drawing sets, including millwork and interior architecture
• Manage project timelines and coordination with consultants, contractors, and fabricators
• Navigate co-op/condo approvals and DOB filings
• Lead and participate in client meetings and site visits

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture (M.Arch or B.Arch)
• At least 5–10 years of experience, with high-end residential focus
• Strong experience with pre-war renovations in NYC
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit, Rhino, or SketchUp a plus)
• Knowledge of NYC codes and approval processes
• Strong design judgment and attention to detail
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
