Duties And Responsibilities
- Design Support review of architectural standards and scopes.
- Aid in reviewing Aligned’s reference design standard, ensuring compliance, innovation, lessons learned, and alignment with customer and code requirements.
- Participate in design quality control reviews across all phases.
- Support the preparation of content and materials for internal business approvals.
- Aid in conceptual and directional design decisions.
- Support site evaluations, test fits, and Aligned’s real estate due diligence efforts.
- Aid in expansion and renovation projects & upgrades to existing legacy facilities.
Execution
- Support technical investigations and problem-solving efforts.
- Aid in validating project readiness for service from a technical standpoint.
- Support troubleshooting of building performance issues under the guidance of senior staff.
- Participate in coordination meetings (design and construction).
Revenue
- Review customer-driven deviations from standard designs.
- Aid in evaluations of assets under consideration for acquisition.
Forward Vision
- Stay informed on industry trends and technologies.
- Assist in evaluating sustainable practices.
- Aid in reviewing new design and construction technologies.
Communications
- Communicate effectively with team members and project stakeholders.
- Convey technical concepts clearly with guidance.

Minimum Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch), or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of design or project management experience.
- Basic understanding of building systems (structural, architectural, MEP).
- Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications.
- Interest in leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve design/engineering efficiency, quality, and decision-making across workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
- Ability to understand construction project scopes.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
