Associate Designer - Architecture

Primary Responsibilities

• Contribute to the creation of schematic design packages through to construction documents.
• Affiliate with the preparation of presentation drawings, boards, and materials.
• Affiliate with project permitting processing, submittals, reviews, and approvals.
• Affiliate with the project team throughout the construction phase services.
• Perform as-built measurements, photo documentation, and condition assessment of existing homes and structures.
• Communicate and coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, contractors, and building officials.

Requirements

• A professional degree in Architecture, Bachelor's or higher, from an accredited architecture program.
• 2 to 5 years of architectural experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is required, and familiarity in AutoCAD.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam Revu.
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
• The ability to collaborate with a team and to work independently.
• Reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Preference may be given to applicants with a California Architecture License.
• Additional studies/certification/degree in Historic Preservation.
• Knowledge of the Secretary of the Interior's Standards.
• Custom single-family residential experience.
