Responsibilities
- Teach physics to students in grades 9-12
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective lesson plans
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
Requirements
- Valid Virginia teaching certificate with endorsement to teach Physics
- Experience teaching physics at the high school level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in physics and related fields
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Experience working with diverse student populations
Skills
- Effective classroom management skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
- Proficiency in using educational technology
