About the role

The Senior Medical Physicist coordinates and provides physics services to all health care facilities and clinics within Centra in accordance with the highest standards of practice as required by State and Federal Regulatory Agencies and recommendations of appropriate professional societies.

Qualifications

  • Required Education: Masters of Science Degree in Medical Physics/Physics.
  • Required Experience / Skills: At least five (5) years experience as a full-time Medical Physicist under the direct supervision of a physicist certified by the ABR or ABMP. Must meet all criteria defined by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and State Agency to fulfill role of Radiation Safety Officer.
  • Required Certifications and Licensures: Certified by the American Board of Radiology or American Board of Medical Physics in one (1) of the three (3) traditional fields of Medical Physics.

Pay

$168,196 – $252,294
