About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Physicist, this position provides physics support for the Radiation Oncology department.

Responsibilities

  • Weekly chart checking
  • Acceptance, testing, and commissioning of therapy hardware
  • Calibration and QA of therapy equipment

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Medical Physics or related major, or Ph.D. in Medical Physics or related major
  • Upon hire: National Medical Physics - Therapeutic Certification - American Board of Radiology
  • 2 years post-degree clinical experience or completion of a post-degree clinical medical physics residency

Pay

Pay range: $112.48 - $179.83 per hour. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
