Medical Physicist - Radiation Oncology

We are seeking a Medical Physicist to provide expert support for Radiation Oncology, Medical Imaging, and other departments utilizing radiation equipment or radioactive materials. Responsibilities Include Performing IMRT and conventional 3D treatment planningReviewing weekly patient charts and participating in chart roundsConducting in-vivo dosimetry and patient-specific IMRT quality assuranceExecuting manual calculation checks on treatment plansPerforming monthly testing of measurement equipmentImplementing low and high dose rate treatment planning Qualifications Include MS in Radiological Sciences/Medical PhysicsMinimum of three years of related experienceBoard certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics and a Professional License in the stateStrong understanding of radiation physics, radiobiology, treatment planning systems, accelerators, simulators, brachytherapy equipment, and radiation safety The role requires independence, technical expertise, and adherence to safety standards to ensure optimal patient care and radiation safety.
