Physician - Urogynecologist

About the role

Ochsner Women’s Service line is seeking a skilled and compassionate Urogynecology physician to join our prestigious healthcare team based in the greater New Orleans metro area. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN with specialized training and expertise in Urogynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide innovative, multidisciplinary, complex care through a collegial team of urogyencologists, urologists, colon and rectal surgeons, physical therapists, and other pelvic floor specialists.
• Support the Center of Excellence for the Women’s Service Line, located at Ochsner Baptist in Uptown New Orleans.
• Offer satellite coverage at other Ochsner facilities throughout the greater New Orleans metro area.
• Teach residents and medical students through the Ochsner OB/GYN residency program and the University of Queensland Ochsner Clinical School.

Requirements

• MD or DO Degree from accredited medical school
• Board-Certified/Eligible in Urogynecology
• Fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology)
• Louisiana medical license and/or eligibility and DEA
