Urogynecologist Physician

About the Role

The UC Davis Health School of Medicine is seeking a dedicated and innovative Urogynecologist to join the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology in the division of Urogynecology. The applicant is expected to participate in a multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment and management of urogynecology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This position is primarily based at a UC Davis Health School of Medicine (UCDH) clinic, with flexibility required to provide coverage at other affiliated clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide FPMRS (Female Pelvic Medicine Reconstructive Surgery) outpatient care, including clinical operation procedures and surgery.
• Collaborate effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team, including management, staff, physician colleagues, residents, and medical students.
• Triage urgent patient needs and adhere to UC and UCDH policies and procedures.
• Practice state-of-the-art, quality medicine prioritizing the patient experience and appropriately manage economic resources.
• Demonstrate strong written, oral, and verbal communication skills.
• Prioritize quality of care and the patient experience, ensuring timely completion of paperwork involving patient care and billing, with compliance to billing policies.
• Demonstrate the highest levels of ethical and professional conduct, provide and accept feedback, and implement UCDH accepted clinical standards of care and "Code of Conduct."
• Obtain and maintain good standing and active medical staff privileges with UCDH.
• Embrace change, participate in innovation, and support continuous quality improvement, including organizational changes.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or eligible in OB/GYN.
• Completed fellowship in FPMRS (Female Pelvic Medicine Reconstructive Surgery) and be subspecialty board certified or eligible.
• Experience in FPMRS outpatient care, including clinical operation procedures and surgery.
• Ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment and adhere to policies and procedures.

Pay

$424,445 - $485,445 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, 100% on-site. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
