About the role
Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Transplant Surgeon to join the Transplant Surgery department in Fargo, North Dakota.
Responsibilities
- Completion of an ASTS-certified transplant surgery training program
- UNOS certification
- Able to obtain ND license
- Join developed kidney transplant surgery team
- Partner with experienced transplant surgeon
- Contribute to the clinical planning, program development, and future growth of liver transplantation
- Possess strong clinical expertise in kidney transplantation, minimal invasive living donor nephrectomies, surgical vascular access creation, and PD catheter placement
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Transplant Surgery
- ASTS-certified transplant surgery training program completion
- UNOS certification
- Ability to obtain ND license
Qualifications
- Experience in both kidney and liver transplantation preferred
- Strong clinical expertise in kidney transplantation
- Minimal invasive living donor nephrectomies
- Surgical vascular access creation
- PD catheter placement
