Physician Recruiter

Important to note: this is a Hybrid role located in Sacramento and is not remote work.

Position Overview

Performs duties related to primary or specialty care physician recruitment and is responsible for representing Sutter Health and assigned medical group(s). Manages sourcing, vetting, and interviewing activities for their assigned specialties and geography. Oversees the entire recruitment cycle from start to finish. Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures and performs in accordance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements.

• Oversee the entire recruitment cycle from start to finish.
• Represent Sutter Health and assigned medical group(s).
• Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulatory/legal requirements.
• Interface with a wide variety of personnel, executives, and vendors.
• Use applicant tracking systems.
• Interface with community agencies and vendors.
• Deal discreetly with confidential information, including physician salary ranges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare, or other related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in communications, human resources, health administration, or a related field demonstrating the ability to interface with a wide variety of personnel, executives, and vendors.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems.

Skills and Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of human resource principles, policies, and procedures.
• Computer and data management skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and advanced MS Outlook skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and change priorities as appropriate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills, with the ability to listen well.
• Able to deal discreetly with confidential information.
• Self-starter who can independently manage projects and time.

Pay

Pay range is $97,032.00 to $145,558.40 annual salary. The Sacramento region 2023 pay range is $42.98 to $64.47 per hour. The compensation range may vary based on geographic location, candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.

Schedule

• Full-time (40 hours per week).
• Varied schedule with variable days of the week.
• Weekend requirements as needed, occasionally.
