About the role
The West Virginia University School of Medicine's Department of Diagnostic Radiology is seeking a pediatric radiologist (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank) to join our rapidly expanding academic imaging team. Our new 150-bed Children’s Hospital has a full suite of pediatric operating rooms, cardiac catheterization lab/interventional radiology, and GI-endoscopy with dedicated pediatric anesthesia staff. The hospital includes 34 pediatric beds, 54 NICU beds, 26 PICU beds, a Heart Center, and a dedicated Cancer Center. WVU Medicine Children’s is a Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center, with plans to become Level 1, as it is for adults currently. A Birthing Center also includes a 30-bed obstetrical unit and maternal-fetal medicine clinic. J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital is the only hospital in West Virginia with a pediatric cardiac surgery program, the only epilepsy monitoring unit in the state equipped to serve children, and the only hospital in the state to receive Magnet status for nursing excellence.

Qualifications
- MD or DO (or foreign equivalent)
- Board certified/eligible in Radiology
- Eligible for state medical licensure
- J-1 visa waiver sponsorship available
- Well-rounded pediatric radiology skillset, including fluoroscopy
