About The Opportunity

Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a dedicated and board certified Radiologist for a full-time employed position to join our team on the island of Kaua’i. The ideal candidate will be experienced, a team player, and dedicated to providing high quality medical care.

What You’ll Do

  • Interpret a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, and fluoroscopy, to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
  • Perform minor procedures.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports and communicate significant findings to referring physicians and care teams.
  • Collaborate closely with primary care providers, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in shared call coverage and contribute to maintaining efficient, responsive diagnostic radiology services.
  • No evenings or nights. Teleradiology covers the hospital from 5pm to 7am daily. Home reading stations provided for all full time Radiologists.

  • As a nonprofit organization and rural setting, we are PSLF eligible. Eligible for $50k/year in loan repayment with the Hawaii Health Education Loan Repayment Program.
  • We are a collegial team and are always available to consult with each other on difficult cases.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree or foreign equivalent.
  • American Board of Radiology (ABR) certified/eligible.
  • Eligibility for a full Hawaii medical license and its acquisition before starting employment.

About Wilcox Medical Center

Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kaua‘i, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs, including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology.
