Highlights Of The Position

• 2 FT pediatricians and 2 APPs
• 21 Pediatric Subspecialists Full-Time and Part-Time Faculty in the Department Pediatric residency training program with 24 residents (8 per year)
• Med/Peds residency training program with 16 residents (4 per year)
• Collegial and multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses with whom to collaborate
• Physician leadership and input at all levels of administration
• This Position Combines teaching and patient care
• Inpatient and Outpatient settings
• Emphasizes teaching and provides vitally important leadership and guidance to medical students and residents
• Provides an environment that challenges students, residents, and faculty alike, while providing maximum opportunity for development

Qualifications

Must be board certified/board eligible in Pediatrics and eligible for active Louisiana Medical Licensure. Graduating residents are welcome to apply. This position is for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Pediatrics.
