About the Role

This position is for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine that will work under the direction of our Medicine Pediatrics Division Chief and Chair of Internal Medicine. We are looking for a physician to join our expanding primary care team and provide patients with high-quality treatment and diagnostic services. The ideal candidate is an intuitive healthcare professional whose diagnostic abilities are only matched by their concern for their patients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a collegial and multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses to develop a customized plan of care for each patient.
• Provide high-quality treatment and diagnostic services to patients.
• Lead and guide medical students and residents in teaching and patient care.
• Participate in medical research if applicable.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
• Eligible for active Louisiana Medical Licensure.
• Graduating residents are welcome to apply.
