About the role

Clinic-based practice with hospital consults throughout the Children's Hospital (NICU, Peds, PICU) with outreach opportunities. Support Peds Coordinated Treatment Centers for diagnoses: Brain Injury, Down Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, Neurodevelopmental, Myelodysplasia, and Cerebral Palsy. Ability to provide botox procedures with nitrous, propofol, mod sedation with ARU staff and anesthesia.

Responsibilities

  • Support Peds Coordinated Treatment Centers for diagnoses: Brain Injury, Down Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, Neurodevelopmental, Myelodysplasia, and Cerebral Palsy.
  • Provide botox procedures with nitrous, propofol, mod sedation with ARU staff and anesthesia.
  • Support rehabilitation services at Sanford Health South University Medical Center rehab unit.
  • Work at the Region’s only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.

Requirements

Must have a medical degree from an accredited institution, be board certified or eligible, and have completed a pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation residency program.

Qualifications

Experience in treating patients with conditions such as Brain Injury, Down Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, Neurodevelopmental, Myelodysplasia, and Cerebral Palsy.

Skills

Ability to provide botox procedures with nitrous, propofol, mod sedation with ARU staff and anesthesia.
