About the role

The CHOC Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation program is dedicated to offering comprehensive rehabilitative services for infants, children, and adolescents facing both permanent and temporary disabilities. This includes collaboration with various subspecialties at CHOC such as neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, orthotics, rehabilitation, and neuropsychology.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical expertise in treating pediatric patients with physical disabilities
  • Collaborate with other subspecialties to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care
  • Provide outpatient and inpatient consults at CHOC and an inpatient rehabilitation unit at Healthbridge Hospital
  • Opportunity to sub-specialize and develop your own practice
  • Teaching responsibilities at the University of California-Irvine School of Medicine
  • Research opportunities

Requirements

  • BC/BE in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
  • Fellowship trained in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine

  • Experience in pediatric rehabilitation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
